New World-Aeternum Coral Divide North Base

The formerly new PVP map for New World: Aeternum was such amazing project Amazon Games had Lost Boys Interactive work on. It has been such great industry experience to have had the chance to work on a Triple-A title with everyone. especially breaking records for this style of game and its constraints. from concept, vertical slice, blockout, first-final passes, testing/performance.
With an already small team we were able to come up with a new concept for PVP experiences. We split the map into 4 locations with lower underground areas! This paved the way for scope, scale, and composition. From a design standpoint, it's the most difficult area to collect anything in being underground let along enemy encounters. The upper levels were open from every directions that our design team had sucha fun time making each space tense and memorable. This Online PVP map was the most fun and play-testing it across Lost boys and Amazon was such an exciting thing to see. Using only pre-existing kits gave the space scale and cut costs while still keeping true to the NW direction.
